As well as doing comics, I sometimes write short stories. This is one of my best. Lawrence Burton, in his review blog, said it was about "the realities we make for ourselves when the truth is too awful to contemplate", which is better than I could have put it myself. Other readers said "Fucking hell, Dan", and "Are you going to pay for my therapy?".
